Multimedia
Selling a line of clothing on the Internet would be greatly enhanced by the use of multimedia in that you could show a video of a model wearing a garment and walking in it to show the movement the fabric and cut possess.
Audio could be included to describe the elements used in the design and to point out some of its features. Perhaps it is a garment that is designed to slim the body and enhance the smallest part of the torso.
Photographs from different angles could be incorporated to show the craftsmanship and design in close detail for the client.
Text describing the line and the fabric content, washing instructions, sizing any other important information the client might need in order to make an intelligent choice would also be included.

Stay Away from Using Pop Ups
Cater to the viewers who are going to stumble across your website. It’s a challenge to make those who were kinda interested become enthralled with your content. Don’t waste time on linguistic virtuosity, always strive to be brief, terse and to the point: on the internet, less is more. Refrain from the pop-up ad, since they are considered irritating, and are usually going to be blocked by the user anyway. Use short sentences with clearly marked hyperlinks to offer the customer a choice of perspective. Wisely combine sound, text and image in a subtle way that doesn’t clutter the site, nor force the user to wait for a ridiculously long amount of loading time. If you do use multimedia sound a video, make sure that the customer has full control over them.

Nobody likes pop-ups
An internet marketer should avoid overpopulating their webpages with so much multimedia that it takes a long time for the pages themselves to load. It’s good to have a few good pictures, or maybe a minute-long video on the website, but an entire photo album – plus a half hour of unedited video footage – will not only overcrowd the page (making it difficult to navigate) but it will also make the page load very…very…slowly…which could potentially lose prospective customers as they sit and wait for the page to load. It’s best to limit what you post to the website; however, they’re will be a few of those who may ask for more photos or videos, but it’s better that they request them, since not everybody cares to flip through your entire photo album about handmade christmas ornaments.

A photo makes it much easier to pick a favorite
A dog breeder would benefit from effective multimedia on their website because it would enable them to display their dogs to the public rather than just the people who show up to their shop. By using still photographs of the dogs, they could show would-be customers exactly what they have to offer. With video footage, the dog breeder – who may specialize in producing agility dogs – could have some examples of how well their dogs perform in competition, and how well they behave around people and fellow canines. These two forms of multimedia would quickly prove themselves as highly effective tools for helping the breeder gain more customers, while also helping them to propagate a positive reputation in a dog-eat-dog world.

Medical Cannabis
If I were to consider one example of multimedia for promoting a service on the internet, I would use photographs of medical strains to help gain exposure for the medical cannabis dispensary. Since the look of the product is an important factor in customer satisfaction, it would be highly beneficial for the dispensary to have the ability to show what they had before individuals walked in the doors. This could attract more customers, while simultaneously providing a way to spread the word, since customers would have a way to show others why they chose that specific club as their favorite place to buy medical-grade marijuana.

A picture could lure in those who previously had no interest in it
