Effective Multimedia Video Marketing

May 11th, 2010 § 0 comments § permalink

For some products, such as video games or movies, a small trailer clip may be enough to draw the curiosity of a potential customer.

Video is fast becoming a commonly used tool for effective multimedia marketing on the internet.  An example of an effective video advertisement would be one placed on a highly visible part of a web page, which would queue up its visual content on its own when the user lands on the page, but would require user input to activate audio or lead them to a selected part of the ad to learn more about what they might specifically want to know about the product.  The visual content should be used to draw the attention of the visitor, but it should be recommended that any audio remain silent until user activation.  The reason for this is: if the audio starts blaring every time the user clicks the page and requires user input to shut it off, it will more likely have the effect of annoying the user in the way a pop-up ad would rather than drawing in the user.

Five Things Essential to Effective Affiliate Marketing

Gather a group of support with affiliate marketing strategies

If you want to have an effective affiliate marketing campaign, there are five things that are priority: one, extend beyond just the gaming aspect of the product, and draw intrigue through the soundtrack titles or band names; two, gather reputable affiliates who are complimentary to your product (in other words, if you’re game is on a specific platform, go to websites that offer reviews of that console); three, consider your target audience, and hire the affiliates with a similar audience; four, allow third parties to review your product, if they like it – they may endorse it at no cost to you; five, gather a diverse cabinet of affiliates to ensure that you haven’t narrowed your public exposure to those who are already more prone to buying your product.

How to Use Viral Videos as a Marketing Tool

April 19th, 2010 § 0 comments § permalink

Spread the world quickly through the viral network

There are many ways to use viral videos for marketing; two of them are tags and comments. By assigning specific tags to your videos, you will ensure that they pop up in searches, and that people will know that they are interested in it before they play it. Another perk of an appropriate tag is that your video will show up in similar video lists; in other words, people who have expressed an interest in a video that is similarly tagged will see your video pop up in a list once their video has ended. By using the comment feature properly, you will invite open dialogue about your videos. In doing so, you will entice more people to join the discussion, which may reach a wider audience than you initially expected as different comments introduce tangential topics that attract a diversified crowd.

How the Art Industry Could Benefit from Viral Video Marketing

April 18th, 2010 § 0 comments § permalink

Forget expensive broadcast networks, you tube is free

The art industry could benefit from viral video marketing by making it easier for young artists to break onto the scene, and by also helping up and coming or even well-established artists spread their name far and wide. Viral videos could spread interviews of the artist, which may facilitate more fans when they hear their perspective. A viral campaign could also allow people share the information with friends directly, instead of recapping an interview or commercial they once heard. Viral videos allow artists to reach more people, much quicker than other forms of marketing. Video marketing will facilitate recognition, and may help the art reach those who might not have heard about it otherwise.

What to Avoid Doing When Using Affiliate Marketing

spam

Spam

.  Do not spam, people don’t like to receive uninvited information, this type of affiliate marketing strategy is annoying to potential customers and they will most likely delete it without giving it a thought.

.  Make your product sound authentic, explain why your product is the best and avoid misleading comments.

.  When partnering with an affiliate who uses rewards programs make sure they are reliable, you don’t want to get involved with someone who doesn’t provide what they promise

.  Do not use pop-ups; people are apt to close them without even reading what they say as they are an annoyance.

.  Do not use generic content, if your audience deems the content has nothing unique about it they won’t read further.

Compare Prices

eBay has a business model that shows Affiliate Marketing at its best you list you item on their site and they take a percentage of whatever you sell. They give you the exposure to the world and you provide the product.  For little or no money up front in advertising you are seen by a global audience.

Comparison shopping is a great way to be exposed to a wide variety of customers as your product would come up in a search for a similar product giving the client a choice in what they purchase beyond what they entered in their original search.

Imagine selling iPhone custom covers and partnering with resellers who carry already carry iPhone products.  Both parties would benefit from potential sales. Someone who buys an iPhone most likely would be interested in an iPhone cover to protect it.  The participating reseller would receive a percentage of the profits from each sale.

Selling iPhone covers in an Apple Store would be a greater benefit as the store would purchase a bulk amount at a discount and sell them for suggested retail and both parties would benefit from the association.  There would be a great deal of traffic circulating through the store bringing in a lot of potential customers.

SEO can be a valuable tool to gain visibility in the result pages of major search engines.

The Importance of SEO for a Content Writer

March 27th, 2010 § 0 comments § permalink

SEO carries considerable benefits for online content writers.

SEO is a crucial marketing tool for a content writer in today’s context because the internet is rapidly becoming the mainstream mode for commerce, and makes connections in communication and transaction between buyer and seller far more easily accessible than ever before.  The market in which almost any writer must stake a bold claim in order to make a career of it is very competitive and it is far more difficult now to set one’s name apart from others with the same aspirations considering that it is now possible for almost anyone to publish almost anything electronically.  However, publishing something on the internet does not by default lend it any credibility, respectability or appeal.  The content must distinguish itself in terms of character and quality in order to do so, but even this is not enough without a way to bring traffic to one’s content.  In light of this, SEO is an essential element in the process of setting oneself apart as a writer and getting noticed and rewarded for doing so.

Plush Toy Marketing For Success

March 7th, 2010 § 0 comments § permalink

I would like to create a business to market plush toys.  The market is very competitive and going up against the big toy companies is impossible.  SEO would benefit me greatly in that I could reach particular markets to sell into who otherwise would not know of my existence at a very low cost.   I could market certain toys to particular age groups through keyword phrases in the content as well as reach a global audience.

Including links to other sites would be a good way to increase PageRank.  Like co-marketing this method could be used with target market companies to increase traffic on my site.
