The argument that “content is king” when it comes to the internet is 100% true. While the internet offers all sorts of goods and services to web surfers, the internet itself is composed entirely of content. Everything contained within a website is content, regardless of whether it’s a page selling cow-shaped picture frames or a page on the benefits of drinking beet juice. The quality of content determines website popularity. An easy-to-read, up-to-date, informative website is more likely to gain hits over a website that lacks good writing, does not update, or provides information of little value to readers. The most popular websites also provide content that appeals to more than one audience; this obviously allows it to gather hits from a wider range of demographics by fitting the needs of multiple groups of surfers.

Introduction:
Content is King. I do agree with this memo or an argument – whatever term one wants to call it. Quality content with proper SEO usage only can make the visitor read the full article and use it for achieving their goal, be it buying a product or enhancing the knowledge.

CONTENT IS KING
Appeal to the target audience:
Article that is written with SEO based content for geo-marketing can target audience globally or locally as the web master / business owner wishes. Depending on the marketing methodology one uses and the customer area one wants to focus on, Content can act like a King to rule the marketing world.
Repeat visitors:
Content should meet the below basic criteria to gain repeat visitors and in turn more business.
- Original, different and unique
- Relevant information for what it was written for
- Appealing, interesting and informative
- Updated information in line with the global changes
Conclusion:
If the content strategy is neglected, the website and so the business will fail within a year of building the same. Not only the search engines love contents, visitors read the websites for contents that are informative and help to meet their need. So Content is King.

- Writers Have The Power
Five pieces of advice I would offer when writing an SEO friendly press release are, first to keep it simple. Write in ordinary language, using common words that your customers would use. Highlight or boldly format keywords, making them stand out. Make sure to place key words in the content of the press release as well as in the images. Ensure that key words are included in all headlines and sub-headlines of the press release. Steer customers back to your website with the use of anchor text links. Lastly, write interesting and engaging content. Inform and entertain your reader and they will be more likely to, not only read the entire press release, but click on other related links to learn more.

Article marketing involves posting keyword-focused articles on article distribution sites that then submit your content throughout their network. The reason this is an important website promotion technique is because some of these article sites have a significant readership following.
Most article submission sites allow you to post your content for free, however some of the paid ones can be more effective. Once published, your content becomes available for all to see, and ideally reuse. When done properly, articles you post on article sites can then become “link bait” for other sites. For example, let’s say you own a business that sells watches. If you or your web content writer write an article about purchasing a nice watch, others who may want to post a blog entry about watches may link to your article, getting increased exposure for your writing and your subject matter, especially if the article site gets a great deal more traffic than your own website, which is common.
Many article sites will allow you to include HTML links in your articles. You can then link your keyword phrase to the page on your website you’re trying to promote for that keyword. This is a highly effective search engine optimization technique so make sure you do adequate keyword research before you begin writing. Others won’t allow you to do that, but they’ll have no problem with you including links in your resource box (your profile or signature information used to let people know who you are), which adds important one-way backlinks to your website.
Even if you have to pay to have articles written for you, it’s fairly inexpensive to have a good article written by a knowledgeable writer. There are many freelance sites on the web that can help you find a writer for a low price. Therefore, article marketing can be a very cost effective means of website promotion for your home business.
