Twitter
Twitter would be a great marketing tool for short announcements like a grand opening event or a new product being released, just enough of a teaser to peak people’s interest and have them further investigate. You can select who you want to receive your information and just target those who would be most responsive.
People “follow” you on Twitter so you only need to announce an item once and it will go out to all the people that are fans. This can lead to an increase in website traffic. This increase in traffic will further draw potential clients or repeat business to the website to learn more about the company’s offerings.

Typewriter keys
In Journalism classes, writers are encouraged to know the audience, speak to the audience and engage them. SEO is the same basic concept. If a writer wishes to write for web audiences, he/she must know how to speak to that audience. This includes the most fundamental aspect of getting your words in front of the reader. It is not enough to be a great writer. Great words on an ineffective website benefit almost no one. Great writing on a website with excellent visibility due to SEO is much more fruitful and beneficial.

Tweets should be used effectively
Five ways to effectively use Twitter as a web marketing tool are: Familiarize yourself with compact communication, since the limit is 144 characters. Remain consistent so that you keep followers and constantly recruit more to the account. By having many followers, public exposure is maximized. Advertise the Twitter account itself to let customers know that they can follow the company. People may come in every day and have no idea that their favorite business has a Twitter account. Offer specials to followers only – this will entice more people to join the Twitter account. Link the account into other social media realms; doing so will synchronize profiles and increase the company’s publicity.
