Medical Cannabis
If I were to consider one example of multimedia for promoting a service on the internet, I would use photographs of medical strains to help gain exposure for the medical cannabis dispensary. Since the look of the product is an important factor in customer satisfaction, it would be highly beneficial for the dispensary to have the ability to show what they had before individuals walked in the doors. This could attract more customers, while simultaneously providing a way to spread the word, since customers would have a way to show others why they chose that specific club as their favorite place to buy medical-grade marijuana.

A picture could lure in those who previously had no interest in it

Well written, engaging content is what drives people and search engine crawlers to a website. It has been proven that organic sites get much more traffic than paid sites.
Keyword research, density, proximity as well as Meta tags, URL structure and internal links are all critical to understand as a content writer in concept. It helps to know the background of how the technology works in order to craft a piece that will be successful when being searched for.
Most important is that the writer connects with the audience and pulls readers into the site by writing interesting and informatively; all the technical stuff can be added on as icing.

Twitter
Five things a writer should be aware of and avoid when writing for Twitter.
1. Cryptic posts. See the 140-character limit as a challenge to create concise, informative posts. Don’t abbreviate your words to the point where readers can’t decipher what you’re trying to say. Trying to cram too much in to the tweets gaurantees your failure.
2. Too many tweets. Just like a little brother, even though you may love him, you don’t want him tapping on your shoulder every 5 minutes with inane conversation. Keep your posts to a reasonable quantity so people don’t “un-follow” you or tune you out.
3. Think Twitter and Facebook are the same thing. They’re not. If you think they are, you either haven’t used them, or don’t understand them. Facebook’s purpose is to connect friends and communities in a web of interpersonal interaction and community. Twitter makes no bones about being a community of people who don’t necessarily know each other and don’t pretend that they do. On Twitter, you’re not a “friend”, your’e a “follower”. Write accordingly.
4. Dont’ use all the functions of Twiitter. There are only a few, and they all serve their purpose to further connect you with potential readers and followers. Reader restriction, searching, live tweets, these functions all serve to create a more successful marketing campaign via Twitter.
5. Don’t use Twitter. Ignoring the Social Media wave and refusing to connect with people where they are at, namely online and in Social Media, you lose out on the potential contact with and devotion from, thousands, if not millions, of potential customers.
