Childcare
A local childcare service could greatly benefit from Social Media. A childcare agency relies on its reputation to earn repeat and new customers. These agencies rely heavily on word of mouth throughout the community to increase and promote their reputations. Social Media marketing would be the perfect way to broadcast and build upon a reputation.
For instance, a blog could be created that would talk about advancements in the childcare industry and improvements at the facility. Parents of children enrolled in the service could interact through a private Facebook group and be instantly updated on important news related to the agency. Social Media is a great way to easily and inexpensively market a local, community-based agency.

Internet Marketing
Five things to remember to achieve effective media writing:
1. Remember that surfing the internet is different than browsing through printed materials, and writing should reflect this reality.
2. Writing should cater to a person browsing, as a window display does to a casual passerby. It should be engaging with minimal involvement, and encourage the viewer to want to see more.
3. Don’t write a novel, keep the copy succint, to the point and informative. Readers are not there to become engrossed in your content, at least, not at first.
4. Be smart and tactful – pop up ads are frequently blocked by viewers, and shady tactics just anger potential customers. Don’t waste your energy or money on these types of multimedia.
5. Don’t barrage your viewer with too much content. The visual aspect of your page is very important – too much content crowds the page and turns off the reader.

A well-designed website can jump you ahead of the competition
The first step of designing a website is to learn more about the purpose of the site, and what the business expects performance-wise. This is important because the context of a website will greatly influence the overall structure of the site. The second step is to become acquainted with the target audience; this is important because it will ensure that the site is geared to effectively communicate with these individuals. Thirdly, it is important to design a website that is compatible with multiple web browsers, to ensure that the site is accessible. The Forth step is to sketch out a visual diagram of how the pages will interlock, which is important because it allows the architect to find the most appropriate way to structure their client’s website.

- Considering the options will help improve the final design

For many businesses, the internet can be an effective way to get the most out of advertising.
Advertising on Internet is an invaluable tool for businesses because it is the most measurable means of advertising in terms of gauging the viewership of its intended audience. Whereas businesses cannot measure the number of people who may or may not have viewed a newspaper ad, and can only have a very rough idea of how many people saw a television ad, assuming they were attentively watching, response to internet advertising can be measured very directly by how many times an ad link was visited and by whom. Also, with many people spending an increasingly large amount of time on the internet, internet advertising is becoming more and more advantageous in terms of putting the product name where it may catch the attention of a potential client.
