
I own a scented candle company. In the early 1970’s I probably would be holding home parties to sell my product. I would be inviting over 20 of my closest friends and hoping they bought a candle or two, then I would talk them into having a party at their homes. At best, I would have an audience of 20-40 women at a time, not very efficient. Fastforwarding to the future, I would create a website, determine my target market and develop a strategy to build my business. I would use Internet Marketing to reach as many possible clients as I could, and would probably be much more successful. My efforts would be rewarded 100 fold and my time much better utilized.
